Register Now for Church Basketball!

Welcome to First Presbyterian Church Basketball Registration! We will be participating in both the new Spartanburg Church League and the YMCA League for the 2025-2026 basketball season. The registration process is open now and will remain open until Wednesday, October 29, 2025. There will be a $10 late fee for any registrations received after the deadline. 

Registration is open for both boys and girls in grades 1st-12th, and will be open to both members and non-members of First Presbyterian Church. In the event of a waitlist, priority will be given to First Presbyterian Church members. 

Our registration fee for this season will be $90/player. This year, only one form is required when registering multiple children. Please see the information and links below to sign up and pay. Rosters, practice times, and schedules will be sent out once registration concludes.

Practices for all divisions are tentatively scheduled to begin the week of November 10, 2025.

YMCA League (Divisions are 7th-8th; 9th-10th, 11th-12th)

  • Practices on either Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, or Sunday
  • Games will be held evenings on the same weeknight at local churches or the YMCA.
  • Tentatively, games are scheduled to start the week of November 17, 2025.

As a reminder, if your child tries out, makes, and chooses to play for his or her school team, he or she will be ineligible to participate in church basketball. In this event, your registration fee will be refunded to you.

Spartanburg Church League

  • Practices are either Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, or Sunday
  • Games will be held on Saturday mornings at local churches.
  • Games tentatively scheduled to start on Saturday, December 6, 2025.
  • ** NOTE 5th/6th grade boys will play games on Tuesday nights

D1 Boys 1st-2nd Grade

D2 Boys 3rd-4th Grade
D2 Girls 4th-6th Grade

These tentative scheduled practice and game dates could change in the coming weeks depending on the number of teams in each age/gender division.
